can i log a set by text
Workout tracker app:
log your sets by chat.
Physiqo is an iPhone workout tracker where you can log a set by typing it, or tick sets off on a live workout screen with a rest timer. Ari, its AI coach, builds your plan, logs your sessions and changes your week when it goes wrong.
Log a set by typing it
Say what you did, the way you'd say it to a mate: overhead press fifty for six
. Ari logs Overhead press, 50 kg x 6, against the right set of today's session. The card tells you it is set 1 of 3 in Push A and marks a personal record when it is one, and it has Undo and Edit in case she misheard.
Mid-workout she understands shorthand such as 50 x 6
, same again
and next
. She can log several sets at once, bodyweight work and timed holds, and she fixes or deletes a set when you tell her to. You can also tell her how long a workout took.
The live workout screen
When you would rather tick than type, the live workout screen lays the session out one exercise at a time.
- Sets done against today's plan, kilograms lifted against target, and how far ahead of last time you are.
- A rest timer on every exercise, with +15s and Skip, and an alert if you leave the app while you rest.
- Your rest and workout clock on the lock screen, with the set you are on and what is next.
- Drop sets: add one under the set you just did, prefilled a step lighter.
- Supersets, a How to for every exercise, and adding, replacing or removing an exercise mid-workout.
A workout planner that builds your plan in the chat
Say build me a training plan and Ari drafts it on a card in the chat, around how many days you train, your kit (full gym, home dumbbells or no kit) and your goal. You change any lift before saving. Later changes, like fitting a session into 30 minutes, come back as a card that waits for your OK.
Make it a one-off session or a repeating plan. Each session has its own tab, and each lift its sets and reps: tap a lift to set its sets, reps and kg, hold and drag to reorder, swipe left to remove, or pick or type more exercises. Then save each session, or discard the draft. If you already have a plan, send up to 12 screenshots or a PDF and Ari drafts it for you to check.
Changes arrive as a card. only got 30 mins today
comes back as a proposal, for example fewer sets on some lifts, some dropped, and the session cut from 53 minutes to 29, for today only. move legs to thursday
shows the swap, with the day it frees up. Nothing moves until you tap Confirm, and you can Undo it afterwards. You can change a session for this week only or from now on.
Runs, classes and the rest of your week
Ari logs runs, rides, walks, swims and rows with time and distance, and classes such as spin, yoga, pilates or HIIT. She can put a run or a class in your plan as a second session, after your weights or on a free day. Physiqo shows personal records and weekly volume, and with Apple Health connected, read only, it brings in your steps and workouts.
When your week changes, tell her. Say you are away and she moves your sessions around the trip, on a card to look over first, and she starts you at the same weights when you are back. Say something hurts, or you have no kit, and she swaps or drops exercises for this week or from now on. For anything medical, see someone qualified.
Food goes in the same chat: the calorie counter guide shows how. Coming from another gym app? See switching to Physiqo.
What it doesn't do
- She can't judge your form from a photo or video. Tips in words are fine.
- There is no Apple Watch app, and Physiqo is iPhone only. What your watch saves in Apple Health can come in, read only.
- Ari isn't a doctor or a physio. She gives general training guidance and no medical advice.
- Her smart answers need a connection. Logging, plans and your own numbers work on your phone alone.
Everything else she does is on What can Ari do?, and the main page shows Physiqo, the AI fitness coach app, with the real chat.
